Boxed Water Is Better

Create a product with less environmental impact, using renewable resources, and giving back a considerable amount - 20% of profit. Sounds good huh? That's the motto behind the fairly new product Boxed Water Is Better. Drinking water out of a box may sound weird at first, but we drink milk out of a box and that seems to be fine with most US Americans (Thanks Miss South Carolina ;). Plus that sexy box design is screaming for LA hipsters to start rocking this stuff like they're promoting it. Unfortunately it's only available in Grand Rapids and Chicago for the time being.

Content-Aware Fill? Don't mind if I do.

I wasn't that impressed with Photoshop's upgrade from CS3 to CS4 (damn those window tabs to hell!!), but this new Content-Aware Fill feature in CS5 just blew my mind. I'm sold.

Came across this today. Simply perfect cover of a great song by the French band Phoenix.

Google Maps for Bicyclists?

Google just came out with a version of the maps for bicycling. It knows where bike paths are, bike lanes and safer streets to ride on. Google just keeps advancing their technology more and more each day. Someday, they will have 3D maps for flying car routes, or travel tubes Futurama style. Until then, we can now ride more safely on our lovely two-wheeled vehicles. I must say, I do enjoy a nice ride on the beach in the summer.

Come sing-along with Doogie Howser

Webisodes are nothing new as far as media distribution is concerned. They have however gained enormous amounts of popularity over the past few years. The main reason being it's a quick and easy way to get your content in the homes of millions of viewers across the globe.

I'm not a big fan of musicals as a matter of fact i have a strong dislike for most of them. But add NPH (Neil Patrick Harris) into just about anything and I'll take a gander. Who would have thought Doogie Howser had so much talent. On second thought, he was a genius child M.D.

Penned during the writers' strike of 2007, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is a series of webisodes that have now been collected and produced into DVD format. Everyone shines especially Nathan Fillion as the douchey hero Captain Hammer. I remember thinking to myself "Where in the hell is going?" Once it ended, I wanted to watch it again. The tunes are intentionally cheesy, but the singing is well done and the story moves along nicely.

Take a break from the blockbuster Michael Bay flicks and check it out.
