An Angelino since birth, Aimee dove right into the glamour and glitz of LA with a successful sales career in fashion. She has since brought her impeccable style and business/sales experience to our team. Besides keeping us on schedule with projects, Aimee keeps the team updated with the latest news on all things Twilight, Justin Timberlake and American Idol.
An avid visual storyteller as far back as he can recall, Jimmie has gone from doodling flipbooks on the pages of his math book to creating films and animations as a film student at UCLA. In his professional years, he continues his dedication to the craft as a director/editor. Jimmie will eat anything and happily explores the newest and strangest in culinary oddities.
Jen's life-long love for art began with finger paints and crayons and evolved to kick-ass design and programming kung-fu. After living in various parts of the country, Jen returned to LA to join Defy's design and interactive team. With enough pets to start a zoo, she has a soft spot for animals, all things Disney and will take on anyone in a cake-making contest.
Raised in Idaho- yes, people come from Idaho...Strongoni traveled west to Los Angeles (but not that far west, Idaho is not in the mid-west, people- you're thinking Iowa and you're embarrassing yourselves). After way too many years of waiting tables (which he claims "gave him character"), Strongoni was able to sell several screenplays. With a strong sense of story and extensive experience in production and post-production, Strongoni's attention is focused on writing and producing movies that don't suck.
Mike grew up in Detroit drawing Ninja Turtles and Dan Marino throughout most of his childhood. After failing for too many Marino drawings in one semester, he realized there was no future in drawing the Dolphins quarterback. He escaped Detroit for the sunny skies of LA to join Defy's design and interactive team. He loves small furry animals and movie quotes. He despises lettuce and IE6.
What do Neil Diamond, Jackie Brown, and the Anaheim Angels have in common? This guy. CD cover art, movie one sheet, corporate brand development... design is his lifeline. To live is to design. Combining an unique blend of creative thinking and technical experience, he founded Defy Agency in 2007 to offer creative services for clients in the corporate and entertainment industries. Aside from running Defy Agency, Mr. Chi serves on the communication advisory board at PATH, the junior board of Our House Grief Support Center, and board of directors of the Symphonic Jazz Orchestra.
